Vegard Myklebust is a technical director, animator, modeler and programmer, which places him somewhere in the glue between the ones and zeros of computers and the artistic side of animation. He has worked for VFX companies in Hollywood, London, Belgium and Norway and programmed several features in messiah:studio. Vegard has contributed to all of THURISTAR’s projects. The animation tools he creates are tuned towards getting exactly the kind of work flow an animator desires.
Freelance graphic artist since 2005, Maud Chalmel covers a wide range of interests and skills from character design to publishing works, going through illustration, graphic signatures and logos, layout and visual communication. A foot in the animation world through TeamTO, where she works with Perrine on a regular basis, Maud has contributed to establish the visual identity of THURISTAR and to design its website, and enjoys collaborating periodically with its not unpleasant team.
When he was 15, Jochen Vandendriessche stole his sister’s schoolbooks, learned HTML, and decided that building websites was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. Jochen, alias builtbyrobot, started working as a webdeveloper for an agency as well as freelancing. He created the first THURISTAR website/blog in 2008. Jochen has now built this new version, and lately joined the project 850 METERS.

From the moment he saw Toy Story 2, Michael Mahy became obsessed with 3D animation. Graduated from PIH Kortrijk (Belgium) in Multimedia, he took additional courses in Digital Arts and Entertainment to reach his vocation. After a job at Grid vfx for a few months, Michael moved to France to work at TeamTO, with the goal to animate on PLANKTON INVASION the TV series. Michael is now also animating on 850 METERS.
When he’s not watching a whole lot of movies, listening to hours of music, or reading piles of comics or books, Antoine Kerninon spends his time editing all kinds of content. From documentaries to short films, concerts and making-of’s, first and foremost he cares about good storytelling. Antoine collaborates with THURISTAR as the co-director and editor of the making-of of 850 METERS, consisting of monthly online episodes that follow the entire production process.
Lunanime is a production company created by Annemie Degryse and the Lumiere group. So far Lunanime has produced several animated shorts and features such as A CAT IN PARIS, a coproduction with Folimage France. Lumière has produced a big number of live-action shorts and features, such as MEISJE and BEYOND THE STEPPES.

Temple Of Tune is one of Belgium’s leading post-production studios, specializing in sound tracks for television, cinema & radio. The sound design and mixing of PLANKTON INVASION the web series was handled by Fredo Gevaert and his team, also partners of THURISTAR on FAIR TRADING ? and 850 METERS.

TeamTO is an independent 3D animation company based in Paris and Valence, focused on producing innovative TV series and feature films. Recent productions now airing internationally include HAREPORT, ANGELO RULES, OSCAR'S OASIS and BABAR THE ADVENTURES OF BADOU. TeamTO picked up Joeri’s project PLANKTON INVASION in 2008 for a TV series development and is currently producing the show, in coproduction with Canal+, Vivi Film and Tinkertree.

Tinkertree was founded by Jan Goossen, Frank De Wulf and Joeri Christiaen in 2007. PLANKTON INVASION, the web series, developed as six online episodes from 2007 to 2008, was the first project of the company.
Tinkertree is coproducing PLANKTON INVASION the TV series with TeamTO and Vivi Film.
Since 1995, Grid has been providing post-production services such as 3D, VFX, character animation, color grading, editing, compositing and set supervision for advertising and film production companies from facilities in Ghent. The studio handles work for PLANKTON INVASION the TV series, has provided technical support to the short film FAIR TRADING?, and also participates to the production of 850 METERS.
